Busch Gardens is keeping a watchful eye on their two three-month-old cheetah cubs. These adorable cubs are named Tendai, which means thankful, and Thabo, which means "joy". Beginning on March 1, the theme park's animal care team will bring them out to the public at varying times throughout the day in the Edge of Africa area of the park. When they are old enough, the cute little cubs will join the rest of Busch Garden's cheetahs in the Cheetah Run, next to famous Cheetah Hunt ride. Bay News 9 states, Cheetahs are considered a vulnerable and threatened species. Park officials said that once the cubs reach maturity, they may become part of Busch Gardens' cheetah breeding program, which aims to help boost the cheetah population.Cheetahs are considered a vulnerable and threatened species.
